Team

Geoffrey Bruyn works in the (international) financial services industry since 1992. Early 2018, he co-founds Bruyn & Brenninkmeijer consultants together with Jeroen to meet the merger and acquisition needs of independent wealth management firms, asset managers, family offices and private banks in the Benelux.

In the period 2016-2017, Geoffrey works as commercial director and partner of Pritle, one of the leading Dutch robo-advisors, which is sold to BinckBank in 2017. In 2014-2015, he is active as CEO Julius Baer Netherlands. As Country Executive Bank of America Merrill Lynch Netherlands, he is responsible for all business lines in the Netherlands between 2009-2014. As Managing Director and CEO of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Netherlands, he also runs its wealth management activities in the period 2006-2014. Moreover, he is Chairman & regulatory approved board member Pensionfund Merrill Lynch Netherlands (2007-2018).

Before 2006, he holds several commercial, legal and managerial positions with ABN AMRO Bank in Netherlands, Curacao and Luxembourg. He holds a master’s degree in Dutch Civil Law and International Law from the University of Amsterdam.

Jeroen Brenninkmeijer works in the financial services industry since 1995. Early 2018, he co-founds Bruyn & Brenninkmeijer consultants together with Geoffrey to meet the merger and acquisition needs of independent wealth management firms, asset managers, family offices and private banks in the Benelux.

In 2012, Jeroen starts an independent trusted advisory firm for charities and high net worth families. In the period 2008-2011, Jeroen works as commercial director Wealth Management at Bank Oyens & Van Eeghen. Between 2000-2008, he was asked to join Nachenius, Tjeenk & Co, a boutique private bank, owned by ABN AMRO, which was ultimately acquired by BNP Paribas in 2005. In the period 1997-2000, he joins Kempen & Co, a boutique private bank and is involved with the start of Sem van Berkel Securities, a 100% subsidiary of Kempen & Co.

He starts his career in the financial services industry at an Amsterdam based Emerging Market & US broker in 1995.
